first_imgQPR defender Joel Lynch has returned to full training following an abdominal injury.Lynch, 28, has not made a league appearance for Rangers since his summer move from Huddersfield.His only outing was in the EFL Cup tie against Swindon at Loftus Road, where he was forced to go off with the injuryHe could, however, return to the squad for Saturday’s Championship match at home to Blackburn.Backroom changesHead of recruitment David Magrone has left QPR, the club have announced.Magrone was appointed by Rangers director of football Les Ferdinand in January 2015.He was previously European scout at Tottenham, where he worked with Ferdinand and QPR technical director Chris Ramsey.Academy goalkeeping coach Dean Thornton has also left the club after a restructure.R’s sign youngsterTeenage forward Kingsley Eshun has joined QPR on an 18-month scholarship deal.Eshun, 17, was previously on Brentford’s books and more recently played for non-League AFC Wembley.Meanwhile, Les Ferdinand and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink have defended the decision to send QPR youngster Darnell Furlong on a season-long loan to Swindon.Speaking at a fans’ forum, Rangers director of football Ferdinand and manager Hasselbaink both insisted the move was in Furlong’s interest.And fans on Twitter have given a mixed response to news that QPR would still like Junior Hoilett to return.
